SERVICES

The Pinnacle team assists job seekers who face barriers to employment by helping them find, train for, and retain jobs. Through customized employment programs based on individuals’ strengths, talents, circumstances, and career goals, Pinnacle’s precise intake process allows us to find ideal permanent placements for a broad population of people. We charge no fees for our help — our services are funded by federal, state and local agencies and grants.

Pinnacle has a proven track record of success: in one year, 50 clients or more have been matched with meaningful employment.


Our services for job seekers include:

• Resume preparation
• Job coaching and training
• Job shadowing by an employment specialist
• Interview skills training
• Communications training
• Support services before and after employment
• School-to-work transition program 

While many customers are referred to Pinnacle through the New York State Vocational Educational Service for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID), we also accept referrals from school districts, the county Department of Social Services, Mental Health Connections, and self-referrals.
